How much does the festival cost?
The festival has 2 different price list. A discounted one reserved to early online bookings and one at the list price for those booking at the campsite. The price list is available on the BOOKINGS page

What is included in the booking cost?
All the shows and camping (toilets, showers, sinks, electrical hookups, picnic and barbecue areas facilities)

Can I pay by card?
Yes, you can pay by card.

Does my child pay?
Free entry for under 14s . A tiny little cost for youngs aged 14-18.

We are a family,! Can we save money, anyhow?
Of courrse, we love families! Consult the dedicated discounted rates clicking on the RESERVATION tab.

Why a one night stay has an highly price compared with longer stays?
Because we aim to get delighted by your company every single night. So that, the longer you stay, the less you pay!

Do I have to pay for a ticket if I get at evening only to see the night shows?
We ask for a minimum donation amount of €5

If I book a room or bungalow, do I have to pay any extra for the festival too?
If you book a bungalow or a room at Villaggio La Torre Residence, you can attend the festival for free.

Why do I have to wear a bracelet?
On first instance, to help reception staff and campsite managers to recognize your right to get in and out the Festival area as a registered guest, on second instance ward off from any scoundrels attempt to escape recognition as unentitled participants, we are already a - too - cheap festival.

Why do I have to provide for my proof of identity?
Everyone camping during the festival must be registered, by the law.

Does the use of the swimming pool is included in my booking price?
No, the swimming pool is managed by Villaggio La Torre and not by Sincero Festival.
To get the pool entry pass, go ask at the pool kiosk.

Is electricity included?
Electricity is included if you camp as a Festival guest. We can, under deposit, provide for few Industrial CEE plug-to-civil bypass socket but they run out very fast, we then suggest to bring with you one of your own and, if needed, an axtension cord to cover the substation-tent distance.

REFUNDS

I had a setback, can I get a refund?
You will be refunded 95% of the paid amount (we only retain commission fees), we must receive your refund request within 10 days Festival's starting date. If you exceed the limit of 10 days prior, you will be refunded 50% of the paid amount.

I got in to see a show but I didn’t like it and I’m leaving, can I get a refund?
No, since it is a matter of a little financial donation to support the festival and to have such an attitude would be really miserable.

TRAVEL - HOW TO GET TO THE FESTIVAL

Where exactly does the Festival take place?
The festival takes place at Villaggio La Torre, in the district of Torre Iudica in Palazzolo Acreide.

Is the location within walking distance from Palazzolo downtown?
Yes, La Torre Village is 2.7 km far from Palazzolo Acreide downtown, approximately 25 minutes walk. Be careful walking the distance as you cross a provincial road with no sidewalk https://maps.app.goo.gl/jiiAudetB5UTBjdw5

Can you get to the Festival by public transport?
Yes, although it is really long and quite complex, you can get to the Sincere Festival by public transport.

FROM CATANIA (easier)
Either you are Landing at Catania airport or arriving by train in Catania Central Station, you can take the bus company AST.
At the Airport, get any of the exits in front of the ARRIVALS area and turn at your right, the bus stop will be few meter away. If you get to Catania by train or yu find yourself already there, bus stops are located in the square opposite to the train station exit.
Tickets can be done once on bus, ask the driver.

FROM PALERMO (very long)
From Palermo airport (Punta Raisi), take the shuttle from Punta Raisi to Palermo Centrale.
From Palermo Centrale take a train to Catania and from Catania follow the instructions FROM CATANIA

FROM COMISO (complicated)
From Comiso Airport (Pio La Torre) you can take the Comiso Airport Shuttle to Comiso.
From Comiso you can take the AST bus to Syracuse and from Syracuse take another bus to Palazzolo Acreide.
The departures timetable is subject to change by season and days, to find the one fitting your needs, take a view at the company’s website: http://www.aziendasicilianatrasporti.it:8080/ fill up the seach form with departure spot COMISO, arrival SIRACUSA, date and time and click the search bar.
To be sure there will be service from Siracusa to Palazzolo Acreide, you must refresh the searching page and fill up the spaces with SIRACUSA as the departure spot and PALAZZOLO ACREIDE AS THE ARRIVAL.

SPECIAL ASSISTANCE

I’m a wheelchair user, how easy would be to get around?
In the campsite there are 2 paved streets rounding the main bar and stage area and the pitches ground is well-beaten.
The camping bathrooms are not weelchairs equipped, a disabled toilet is located into the restaurant building at the main entry.

ELECTRICITY, WI FI, FRIDGE

Is electricity included in the price?
Electricity is included if you camp as a Festival guest. We can, under deposit, provide for few Industrial CEE plug-to-civil bypass socket but they run out very fast, we then suggest to bring with you one of your own and, if needed, an axtension cord to cover the substation-tent distance.

Is there a fridge where I can keep things cool?
No, get equipped with your own cooler.

Do you have adapters or an extension cord?
No, you need to bring your own cables and extension cords to bring electricity from the nearest substation to your tent.

Can I leave my phone charged?
Plugged to your campsite substation tower at your own risk, we are not responsible for any theft or loss.

Is there any Internet network connection I can get connected to? Can I peacefully work on my laptop while camping?
All the customers can get a free Wi-Fi connection around the pool/restaurant area, you can do your things right there sitting at one of the many tables.

CAMPING

Can I reserve a specific tent spot?
You can't choose and reserve a specific spot before your arrival, although you can secure a place for your tent booking your stay on our website, in the section BOOKINGS

The most shady place?
The sun always rises in the east, make your calculations.

Where can I set up my tent to avoid being disturbed by the music?
Away from the nearest to the stages camping area, which means you must pintch your tent in the green area indicated in the CAMP MAP

What about climate, temperature and weather forecast? Is it cold? Is it hot?
Palazzolo has a quite unpredictable climate, evenings usually pleasantly cool so that you will appreciate to wear your hoodie and/or a jacket.
We have registered editions of torrid days and others quite cold (compared with the seasonal average temperatures). Be prepared.

If I paid for one night camping, can I stay for the night show on my check-out day and leave right after its end?
Of course you can, but if you stay another night without paying for the difference, we’ll be sure to make you feel ashamed of that.

Can I light up a fire?
ABSOLUTELY NO
you are nowhere allowed to light up fires, the only thing you can light up, apart from the hearts, is the barbecue.
On the CAMP MA you can see where the barbecues are located.

Is there still room for my tent?
If you booked it, you can be sure of that.
If you didn't book in advance, if the campsite if full, you will find out at the reception.

Are there bathrooms? Where are located?
There are 7 bathrooms with shower for men and 7 bathrooms with shower for women.

Where can I wash clothes and dishes?
Sinks dedicated to laundry and dishwashing is located into the cental room of the bathrooms building

Can I occupy 5 pitches with my tent?
Better not. I Would rather wait for all the other campers to have arrived, to widen your needed space.

Is electricity included in the price?
Yes, it is.

DOGS AND CATS

Can I take my dog to the festival?
We really love dogs, even more than their owners, however, due to camping life peculiarities, we advise you to leave him at home if possible, if you have no other options than taking him with you, please keep him on a leash and be equipped with dog poop bags.

Can I leave my dog unleashed?
No, we know your dog is very well trained and the most sweetest creature in the world, however, dogs must always be walked on a leash. Can you imagine one dog every 4 guests? It would be 100 dogs around, begging for food and maybe fighting for a left over found on the ground, you know it wouldn't be safe.

Can I take my cat to the festival?
Yes, but beware of the dogs left unleashed by irresponsible owners.

BARBECUE AND FOOD

Any barbecue grills in the capsite?
Yes, you are free to use the built in barbecues located in the campsite, find their location on the CAMP MAP

Should I take the charcoal?
Obviously! We don't provide charcoal for your barbecues!

Is there any woodshed from where to take firewood?
No, it may happen to find broken dried out pine branches, but too sappy to become firewood.

Is there a kitchen?
No, get your own camping stove.

Can I light a fire?
Only in the built in barbecue stations, nowhere else. Find their location on the CAMP MAP

Any nearby restaurant?
The nearest one, just next to the pool area at the main village's entrance, makes pizza and pasta. To find its location, loof for the “R” sign on the CAMP MAP
In Palazzolo Acreide downtown you can find other several excellent restaurants.

Are there dining options within the festival area?
Apart from the Village's restaurant next to the pool, the festival's bar serves deli food exclusively after midnight.

Can I eat at the artists' canteen?
No, the canteen service is reserved only to artists and staff.

Can I get a drink from home?
Despite you can and must bring from home all the food you want, we invite you to drink at the festival bar, we keep popular prices so that you can feel happier drinking and supporting the festival too.

Where can I get coffee?
You can find coffee at the pool kiosk or at the restaurant just next to it.

VEHICLES, CARS, MOTORHOMES

How much does it cost for caravans?
The festival's entry price is per person. It doesn't make any difference if you are in a tent or caravan

Can I keep my car inside the campsite?
No. Once unloaded your stuff, cars have to be moved in the parking lots. To find their location, look for the “P”sign on the CAMP MAP

Can I park my car near the tent?
Absolutely NOT. Once unloaded your stuff, cars have to be moved in the parking lots. To find their location, look for the “P”sign on the CAMP MAP.

I sleep in my car, can I keep it inside the campsite?
Yes, if your car is a converted van, otherwise you can sleep in your car at the car park.
If you are not sure you have the right to keep your car inside, ask the reception staff, they will assess your situation.

How much does it cost for me to camp?

Do I have to pay any extra to attend the shows?
No, all the shows are included in the camping price.

Where can I sleep if I don’t want to camp?

There are no more rooms left for bookings! Where do I sleep?
Palazzolo Acreide is full of B&Bs, look on internet and book your stay in advance, it is mandatory as you would have trouble to find last-minute availability.

Is camping booking mandatory?
It isn't, however the place has a limited capacity, better booking in advance in order to secure your place..

Can I watch the shows without camping?
Yes, you can enter the festival as a visitor at any time of the day to participate in the workshops or attend shows.

How much does it cost to watch shows without camping?

ARTISTS

As an artist, how can I perform within the official Sincero Festival lineup program?
To propose yourself as an artist, consult the website page PERFORM AT SINCERO

Can I perform outside the main Sincero Festival official lineup program?
Maybe small performaces, in the afternoon, having care of not clashing with other parallel programmed activities, for few friends and around your tent.

I’m an artist, any chance to get included in the official lineup program of one of these nights and perform?
No, is the default answer, although, you can try your luck asking the Art Director or Stage Manager if there is still room for you. Unforeseen setbacks can happen sometimes and, who knows, you could end up finding yourself in the right place at the right time.

WORKSHOPS & LABS

What time the labs start?
You can find the workshops schedule in the website official program and also in the Corriere Della Sega, the official Sincero Festival newspaper, ask for your own free copy at the reception where on a chalkboard you can also check for any update on the workshop or last-minute variation.

How much does it cost to take part in the workshops?
The workshops are self-managed by the relative teachers and can have a fixed cost or be supported with donations.

Can I lead a workshop?
You can propose yourself and your workshop writing an email with the object “WORKSHOP”, no later than July 15, containg the follow infomations: Name, Surname, Workshop description and title, duration. Clarifiy if you want to fix a price per person or you are good with free donation support and attach a related representative picture To: sincerofestival@gmail.com

Do I get paid by Sincero Festival for leading a workshop?
No, your gain for the workshops comes exclusively from participant ( fixed price or either based on free contribution) but we do offer free camping and board if your lab gets selected and included in the official program.

Can I ask participants for money?
Yes, you can self-manage your workshop by asking for a fixed or free contribution.

What time can I lead my workshop??
A schedule will be made and you will be assigned a starting time.

Can I lead a workshop out of the official program?
No, you are not allowed.

SWIMMING POOLS

Is the use of the swimming pool included in the camping price?
No, it has a separate variable cost for an half or full day. Ask the Village La Torre staff for more infos.

How many pools are there?
A very large one for adults and a small one for children.

VOLUNTEERS

Do you accept volunteers as part of the staff?
We have room for very few volunteers.
Usually for kitchen help, bathroom cleaning and warehouse management.

What do you offer to volunteers?
We offer free camping, board (excluding breakfast) and bar tabs.
The volunteer must bring his own camping tent and any other equipment needed.

MUGS

Do I have to buy the Sincero Festival mug?
No, but if you ask for a drink in a disposable, you will pay a higher price.
And if we run out of disposables, you won’t be served anything.

Can I use my own mug or glass?
Yes, but it must be 33cl

STANDS, STALLS, ARTISANS

Can I set up a stand? A booth?
You can set up your own store, but you are not allowed to sell food, beverages, or other products that aren’t allowed by law.

Do I have to pay to pintch my market stall in the festival area?
No, we don't charge you for your stand, although, you still have to pay the entrance to the festival like any other guest, even if you come to work.

Is the electricity included?
Having your stand and exclusively if you are camping, electricity is included in the price like any other guest.
If you’re not camping and still want to set up your stand, get independent through battery operated lights.

Do I have space restrictions?
It would be better to occupy no more than 3 square meters, .

Where can I set up my stand?
Small stands are usually set up along the streets, ask at the reception if you have a bigger one or other specific needs.
